Working parents asked for help purchasing a cranial remolding helmet for their baby. The infant’s pediatrician had prescribed this form of treatment that needed to begin before the child reached the age of 12 months. The family’s medical insurance denied the request. With no time to save for such a medical expense and the clock ticking for their window of treatment, For Kids Foundation stepped and ordered the helmet so the baby’s treatment could begin prior to his first birthday.
