Working parents of two reached out for help paying urgent dental care for their pre-K child. The dentist recommended extractions which needed to be performed under general anesthesia due to the child’s age. Although the family had dental insurance, their share of the treatment was more than they could afford. Ruling out help from programs like Health Smile Healthy Child, our Board approved and paid for the urgently needed treatment for a child in pain.
