Parents of a year-old baby asked for help with out-of-area travel expenses. Local pediatric specialists were at a loss to explain the baby’s failure to thrive from severe gastrointestinal distress and uncontrolled seizures. We provided gas cards and helped them secure a room at Ronald McDonald House.
