Single mother of four children asked for help paying team sport fees for her teenage daughter. The family has struggled financially due to Mom losing her job in the hospitality industry earlier in the year due to the pandemic. Our Board approved the request as a positive physical/social activity for the child. Following our Board’s decision, however, a quick phone call to the sports team initiated by our newest Board member Randy Warner resulted in a 100% discount of the fees owed, saving our funds to help another child. We are grateful for Randy’s connection and to Northern Nevada Juniors.
