Soles4Souls
reached out to us this past summer, inviting us to receive and distribute 250 pairs of shoes and 500 pairs of Bombas socks to children in transition (children experiencing some form of homelessness). Jumping at the opportunity to receive such a generous gift to support our community, we said “Yes!” Then, we reached out to the Reno branch of Communities in Schools (CIS) as they work directly with the local schools and could assist with identifying the children in need of this donation. The inventory arrived last week, and the staff at CIS unpacked and sorted the product, readying it for distribution in the coming week. We are grateful for the donation and for our partners at CIS for helping us get these items into the hands (and on the feet) of deserving children!
