Referred by Communities in Schools, a request came to help a family going through financial hardship: both parents had lost their jobs, they are behind on bills, and are specifically in need of bedding/mattresses for two of their children. Knowing the importance of a good night’s sleep, our Board approved purchase and delivery of items directly to the family from local Walmart.
