Board member Tayona Tate and I met with Scott Landon and office administrator Susan Alexander at RC Willey in Reno last week. Their store chose For Kids Foundation to receive a donation of $5000 worth of products to assist our families. We immediately thought of a rural family who lost everything in a house fire last December. We met last week to discuss the delivery of the donation of bedroom furniture for the family’s three children. We also discussed a new partnership for future community events (like our annual Warm Coat Event in the fall!). We are grateful for their generosity.
