Nevada Equine Assisted Therapy (NEAT) provides social, emotional, and behavioral growth and learning interventions through work with horses. Proceeds from this event will benefit For Kids Foundation’s Equine-Assisted Therapy Scholarship Fund which provides scholarships for those kids and teens right here in Northern Nevada who would benefit from the work NEAT offers but who do not have the financial means to participate in the program.
The Ranch is located in Washoe City, near the Chocolate Nugget Candy Factory. They are accepting reservations for the following dates:
Saturday, Oct. 1 – 1-5 PM
Sunday, Oct. 2 – 10 AM – 4 PM
Saturday, Oct. 8 – 1-5 PM
Sunday, Oct. 9 – 10 AM – 4 PM
Saturday, Oct. 22 – 1-5 PM
Sunday, Oct. 23 – 10 AM – 4 PM (note photos taken this weekend may not be delivered in time for Halloween)
