Single, working mother of two, asked for help to obtain insulin for her 13-year-old daughter with Type 1 diabetes. Going through a divorce and changing medical insurance plans left Mom ill-prepared to pay for a new higher deductible; she needed a little help obtaining this life-sustaining medication for her child. For Kids Foundation was able to assist with $859 for insulin and supplies to help.
