A Northern Nevada rural family asked for help purchasing an infant scale. Their premature baby, now home, was failing to thrive. The pediatrician recommended weekly weight checks. Traveling to the pediatrician’s office weekly was not possible and, for that reason, Nevada Early Intervention Services recommended a home scale.
