Our contact at Communities in Schools reached out to us with an urgent request. The family home of two of their students experienced a devastating fire, losing most of their belongings. The children were now sleeping on air mattresses on the garage floor while the home is being repaired. Always looking for partners and alternative funding sources, we reached out to our new friend Brett Udy, founder of local chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace. He was able to provide a bunk bed for the children. Our Board approved purchase of mattresses and bedding.
