RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Monday, July 15 is National I Love Horses Day which is the theme for an online auction fundraiser for Nevada Equine Assisted Therapy (NEAT).
Tele Raack, a local artist a part of Whimsies by Tele, and Sarah Meurs Edenstrom (Creative Expressions Gallery) are hosting the online fundraiser for NEAT. A percentage of all purchases will be donated by each seller. There will also be the Art for a Cause Auction Block of artisan art up for 100% pledge of high bid. Funds will be sent to For Kids Foundation 501c3 earmarked for NEAT.
Raack, along with Laurie Roberts from NEAT, and Cesar Quintanilla from For Kids Foundation, stopped by Morning Break to talk about the work NEAT does for children in our community and how you can help.
