Each Legislative Session, the Senate Sergeant-at-Arms staff coordinates a Charity golf tournament. The 80th Legislative Session Charity Golf Tournament was held on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Eagle Valley Golf Course in Carson City. The event was very successful with the total proceeds of $4,800 going to the For Kids Foundation. The weather was gorgeous, and everyone had a great time.
First place winners with a score of 50 was the team representing our charity, For Kids Foundation, consisting of Rena Zatica, Kyle Robertson, Kit Carson, and Jeremy Price. Second place winners with a score of 54 was “Weapons of Grass Destruction,” which consisted of Dean Reynolds, Mark Vorderbruggen, Mohamed Rafaqat, and Bob McDonald. They are all Legislative Police Officers. The winning team each won a $50 gift card to Glen Eagles Restaurant in Carson City, as well as a bottle of Milagro Silver Tequila in honor of Cinco de Mayo.
