Working mother of two asked for help paying child’s soccer fees. After a work injury, her income was reduced while she received Workers’ Compensation, and she was struggling to pay his monthly soccer team fees. The child thrived on physical activity and played an essential role on the team. Our Board readily approved the request, knowing the benefit of physical activity/team building for the long-term health and wellbeing of the child.
