When local SanMar company employees banded together in 2023 to raise an astounding $19,245 for us, we were inspired to create the G.I.F.T. Program to share with other local businesses!
The G.I.F.T. (Generous Individuals Fundraising Together) Program is a way for local businesses to give back to the community supporting their business by encouraging employees to share in the altruistic experience.
Serving Northern Nevada since 2003, For Kids Foundation is experiencing a major uptick in Medical, Psychological, and Educational requests for assistance. We need help funding these requests.
Funds raised will help local children (from birth to age 21) gain access to urgently needed health, wellbeing, and educational products and services when no other funding source is available.
Local companies and staff agree to participate from 1 to 12 months. Employees raise funds by hosting employee bake sales, monetary contribution for “Casual-Dress Days,” company BBQs, company 50/50 raffles, staff member-created Facebook Birthday Fundraisers, or even donating a small amount from each paycheck. Some employers can even choose to match employee-raised funds!
Your office; no missed time from work. We’ll come to you to snag a quick photo to promote your company. If your company sends details of your fundraising journey, we will gladly share along the way!
You decide how long you want to participate.At the end of the time period your company chooses, we’ll come back to take photos to promote on our website and social media channels and collect a check for the funds raised to bolster our Program Awards for Northern Nevada Kids in Need.
