Single working parent of pre-teen asked for help paying Jam On It Academy group basketball fees as a form of exercise, socialization, and healthy activity to keep child busy after school. Our Board really liked their Mission, “Jam On It Basketball Academy’s mission is to build a child’s confidence and promote a sense of accomplishment by engaging children in fun, competitive play, and to foster the belief that trying one’s best is as important in life as it is in sports. All children, regardless of race, gender, or economic background should have the opportunity to compete in a well-organized athletic program,” funding six months of the program for the family.
