Single, disabled father of two asked for help obtaining equine assisted therapy for his child who has been dealing with severe behavioral issues arising from COVID-19 isolation, school closures, and illness/death of family members. With a scholarship fund in place for this specific form of therapy, our Board readily approved request for child to attend Nevada Equine Assisted Therapy, a COVID-safe and highly effective form of therapy for just this type of situation.
