For the child undergoing chemotherapy for a diagnosed brain tumor, Dad asked for help purchasing a computer for home study. Due to COVID-19, Dad is now working from home on one computer. As we are restricting Program Awards for medical, dental, and psychological emergencies due to the pandemic, we referred Dad to the Cigar Lions Club. They have a program that provides free refurbished desktop computers to kids in need. We reached out and asked them to reserve a computer for Dad to pick up at their Saturday giveaway in a local church parking lot. We are so grateful for this local partnership and their ability to provide a computer for this child.
