Working parents of local high school junior asked for help purchasing a laptop computer. Because this student was completing her junior year at home due to a medical condition, her school counselor recommended the family obtain a laptop computer to access Internet/homework. Struggling to meet general living expenses, the parents were unable to afford a computer. Local Best Buy had some great sales during the holidays and we were able to purchase a laptop for this student to help her complete studies. We hope her medical condition improves with a plan to return to school for her senior year.
