With recent challenges around traffic safety. We are asking for your support in sharing within your networks and community our traffic safety message to keep our students safe on their way to and from school. We are urging drivers to pay more attention, slow down around school areas, and be extra vigilant in watching for children walking to and from school.
WCSD Police Chief Jason Trevino urges everyone to use caution while walking to or from school, bicycling, or driving near schools. It is especially important with the time change leading to some students walking in the dark. Stay safe out there!
