Our December 2022 event got waylaid due to shipping and supply-chain issues. We are happy to report “The coats are coming!”
As local families struggle to provide essentials with still several months of lower temperatures, the generous donation of warm winter coats from Soles4Souls and Macy’s and awesome socks from Bomba’s couldn’t arrive at a better time.
Our friends at RC Willey, Reno, have generously agreed to host this event Saturday, March 11, 2023, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at RC Willey in South Reno.
Although this year’s children-sized inventory is extremely limited (less than 30 coats for 12 Months to 4 Toddler), we are excited to receive close to 500 adult coats, sizes XS to XXXL—think hard-working Moms and Dads going home with new coats!
Additionally, we’ll have 1350 pairs of Bomba’s socks (XS to XL), 250 neck gaiters, 100 backpacks, and a variety of donated arts/crafts supplies for kids. Hopefully, something for everyone.
