For Kids Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Mission: Serving as a safety net for children who fall through the cracks, For Kids Foundation provides one-time funding for the unmet needs of Northern Nevada children (from birth to age 21) when there is no other known resource available.

Vision: Provide or align resources to help every child thrive.

The Foundation serves as a safety net for children who have “fallen through the cracks” when other organizations and agencies are limited. Through a network of community service providers and contacts, we look for those children who have a genuine need but who do not qualify for assistance from other resources. We help those kids no one else does.

For example, we have provided the funding for medical consultations, psychological counseling, prescriptions, and eyeglasses. We have funded dental care, computers, summer school, and hearing tests.
